We have a 3 month contract opportunity for a Training Delivery Specialist/Coordinator in Santa Rosa, CA. This position requires 30-45% travel to Lakeport, CA. The position is onsite with no remote work available.

Job Description:

The Training Delivery Specialist 1 is a key member of the department's Support Services Team, that works together to support enrollment process and the classroom experience for new and existing Employees. Utilizing various software programs, this position is responsible for all aspects of the enrollment and grading processes for classes offered by the Technology Training Team. The Training Delivery Specialist is also responsible for training site preparation and maintenance activities, inclusive of inventory and asset management. Performs related duties as required.


Job Duties:

Training Center Management

- Prepare training center with appropriate classroom set up to include: equipment, live meeting sessions, curricula and training environment.

- Manage all attendance and training deliverables for training events.

- Monitor and manage all classroom activities such as live meeting sessions with virtual instructor and class attendee arrival, breaks and departures.

- Monitor, support, and report struggling attendees.

- Manage classroom evaluations and surveys completion

- Track attendee participation or non-attendance, for trending purposes, using LMS.

- Use course evaluations for feedback to ensure coaching and training center is effective and meets the needs of the attendees.

- Direct training staff, faculty, vendors, etc in specific tasks related to operation of the facility and training events.

- Track and documents issues, risks, and escalates as appropriate to training leadership.

- Oversee maintenance of all facility equipment, technical components, supplies, and furnishings.

- Maintain facility documentation management (including version control, appropriate templates used, etc.).

- Maintains documentation supporting process procedures and status reporting for the facility management work stream.

- Complete training site inventory, stocking and purchasing.

- Maintain cleaning schedule and adherence to changing requirements and recommendations.

Internal/External Partnerships

- This position will require coordination skills to complete reporting, data analysis, critical thinking and the ability to multi task in a very fast environment.

- Works with partnering teams and vendors to get answers to operational or project questions, as assigned.

- This position will serve as a liaison between the affiliate operational contacts, area and system level training partners.

- Accepts other assignments for specialty projects as requested and deemed appropriate by the assigned Manager or Project Manager.

- Update and maintain tools and applications used in the enrollment and class scheduling process (HealthStream Class Build, Smartsheet Updates, etc).


Participates as an active member of the Technology Training team

- Demonstrate commitment to quality through knowledge of its precepts, skillful workplace applications and continuous organizational improvement.

- Submit regular status reports of training accomplishments

- Exhibit a customer/supplier philosophy that emphasizes both internal and external relationships; identifies both customer and supplier needs and expectations and strives to exceed them.


Education:

Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
