The ideal candidate will be service-oriented, bring experience in local government processes, and possess:
Excellent organizational and analytical skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments, coordinate tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
The ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a high performing support team
A highly functional customer service skill set, in order to handle inquiries and coordinate services for multiple internal and external stakeholders
Proficient with bookkeeping software or financial databases, project management software, and Microsoft applications such as Excel, Planner, Power Automate, Power BI, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams
The ability to work with diversity, equity, and inclusion frameworks
Strong attention to detail
Experience preparing, reviewing, and editing complex and detailed public and internal documents
The ability to create spreadsheets, graphs, charts, and presentations
Strong written and verbal communication skills
A business approach to problem solving, research, and resourcefulness
