Billing / Accounts Payable Specialist (San Francisco – Financial District)
San Francisco Electrical Contractor in the Financial District seeks an experienced Billing / Accounts Payable Specialist to handle high volume weekly billings and accounts payable processing. The ideal candidate should have some construction industry background and will possess the ability to perform key activities necessary for the success of our team by accomplishing day-to-day tasks in a busy, fast-paced environment.
Duties Include:
❖ Process monthly AIA contract billings using standard construction schedule of values
❖ Process monthly service billings using T&M tags
❖ Enter A/P Invoices / Assist with weekly check runs
❖ Assist Project Managers with contact and change order entry
❖ Execute Unconditional Progress & Final lien releases for customers
❖ Communicate with clients regarding past-due invoices
❖ Request and maintain client COI’s (Certificated of Insurance) for clients for new projects
❖ Serve as back-up to Receptionist for incoming calls
❖ Other duties as needed
Qualifications:
❖ Minimum of two years of billing / accounts payable experience
❖ Experience using Foundation software of other construction industry software
❖ Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
❖ Ability to meet weekly deadlines
❖ Excellent communication skills
❖ Detail Oriented
❖ Self-disciplined. Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
❖ Construction experience is preferred, but not mandatory
