General contractor is looking for a Bookkeeper with working experience in QuickBooks and a solid knowledge of accounting principles. This is a full-time position (30-40 hours per week).
Duties will include but are not limited to:
Process daily Account Payable and Account Receivable
Update transactions daily
Verify compliance of transactions with financial procedures and policies
Pay bills; Distribute invoices for a billing;
Process payroll, 401k contribution, and WC payment
Maintain and monitor the general ledger expense accounts
Reconcile credit card and bank statements
Create required reports for each Billing Meeting and prepare monthly Financial Update meeting
Keep vendor and client information current
Maintain city and state licenses
Qualifications:
5-10 years of working experience with QuickBooks or Equivalent combination of education and experience
High proficiency in working with QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, and solid knowledge of accounting principles
Meticulous attention to detail and consistent accuracy
Demonstrate high degree of confidentiality and discretion
Possess ability to work with multiple projects, meet deadlines
Be resourceful; strong problem-solving skills, strong active listening, able to work independently and as a part of a collaborative team
Be flexible and adaptable to changes
Follow through and complete verbal and written procedures and requests
