Bookkeeper - A small property management company in Antioch is seeking a motivated employee with bookkeeping skills who is willing to assist with other in-office duties related to the property management business. The primary responsibility will be managing the bookkeeping for our property's income and expenses; however, assistance with incoming invoices, rent payments, bank deposits, and maintaining accurate accounts is also essential. Paper records and folders in the office must be kept up to date. The ideal candidate should have reliable transportation to arrive at work on time, and mileage will be compensated for any tasks required outside the office. Strong computer skills are essential, and applicants must be proficient in QuickBooks, Excel, Word, and email to communicate with owners and tenants.
We can be flexible with start times, but the candidate must work at least 5 or 6 hours a day. An organized person with kids in school would be strongly considered. The hourly rate will be discussed, but it is commensurate with local rates. Understand that the front part of a residence has become an office, and that is our workplace.
