De Bella Mechanical is a medium sized mechanical contracting company located in Santa Clara, CA. We have an immediate opening for an accountant to act as a AP specialist working with the Office Manager and Controller to assist with general construction accounting including certified payroll, AP, Payroll etc. De Bella Mechanical uses a software management/accounting database called Sampro.
Accounting Job Description
Data Entry in Sampro data base accounting software
Perform Certified Payroll Reports for public works projects
Manage job files
Assist with payroll input and posting
Enter AP for check runs, ACH transmissions
Issue work order numbers for emergency repairs
Issue Subcontracts
Required Skills/Experience
Bachelors in Accounting degree or equivalent experience (CPA not required)
Excellent computer skills
Previous construction accounting experience and working knowledge of the construction industry (AP/AR, CPR)
Experience in accounting software (Sampro preferred)
Ability to work in fast paced environment
Good customer and communication skills
2-3 years of experience required, 5+ preferred
