Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced seasonal tax preparer to join our team for the 2026 tax season. This role is ideal for someone who has strong technical tax skills, enjoys being part of a supportive team, and can contribute immediately with minimal supervision. Hours are flexible and can be adjusted around your schedule.
Responsibilities
Primarily prepare individual income tax returns (1040)
Prepare S-corporation, partnership, trust, or other returns if you have experience in those areas
Review client documents and perform accurate data entry into Lacerte
Flag missing items, issues, or planning opportunities for the team
Communicate professionally internal team members
Assist with extensions, estimated payments, and general tax support during the season
Qualifications
Minimum 3 to 5 years of recent experience preparing individual tax returns
Experience with pass-through or trust returns is helpful but not required
Working knowledge of Lacerte preferred
Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
