We are a well-established and successful boutique Tax / CPA Firm in Los Altos seeking a bright, energetic, well-rounded Tax Manager to join our team and help lead it.
You should have strong oral and written communication skills, and a commitment to client service. In addition you can manage deadlines, have a willingness to learn and accept new challenges, and be a flexible, highly organized, self-starter who is able to handle multiple projects.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
You will manage and provide high quality tax services to our clients.
Oversee preparation and review of federal and state income taxes for businesses.
Perform various administrative tasks as needed by the firm and/or clients
REQUIREMENTS:
Six or more years tax management experience required.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be dedicated to providing a high level of client service.
Ideal candidate will have desire to learn, be reliable, positive energy, and enjoy challenges.
Candidate must be available during week days and willing to work some weekends as needed during peak seasons.
Position is for in office employment.
BS in Accounting, CPA, or EA license required.
Lacerte tax and Quickbooks software experience preferred (knowledge of Proseries a plus).
Must have experience preparing GAAP tax provisions, International tax disclosure filings, GILTI and FTC calculations, 1120, 1120S, and 1065 entity tax returns.
Position will also include individual tax return services for business owners and other high net worth individuals.
LLM or Masters in Tax degree a plus.
