A very fun and super busy small business and business owner are looking for a part time Executive Assistant. This is an IN-HOUSE (not remote) position with a lot of flexibility for the right person. You'll assist a very busy business owner with all sorts of projects. It could be anything from picking up supplies at the hardware store to helping resolve a customer issue. Great communication skills and good organizational skills are a must. You will check mail, keep the bills paid, run errands, data entry, help customers issues, keep records/files in exceptional order, help us fix the accounting snafus we create, keep the business owner informed and on track, help customers, etc. It's a great job if you are the type that likes to stay busy and likes varied tasks. But you've got to be smart and confident and have the patience to put up with an overly busy and therefore disorganized business owner. You'll be helping that owner stay on tract and organized.
A key skill set would be the ability to track down the source of a problem and help us fix it. Good math, excel, Quickbooks and computer skill are all good experience.
This is a completely non-smoking environment. This part time position (16-24 hours) is perfect if you need flexibility for school, kids or life.
The successful candidate will possess the following:
Quickbooks experience although we can teach you
Human Resource experience
Excellent Organization and Records keeping
Flexibility - helping with other business and executive assistant tasks is part of the job
Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
Previous managerial accounting experience is a plus
16-24 Hours weekday mornings on site (some off site possible after initial training). Weekends if you'd like them.
