We are a small CPA firm located in San Jose West that provides a wide range of accounting and tax services for individual and small businesses. We are seeking candidates for tax preparer/bookkeeper for our small CPA firm. This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing tax returns -1040 ( Schedule A, B, C, E and D)
- Perform data entry for assigned clients using either QBD or QBO
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations
- Preparing and filing quarterly sales tax returns
- Run payroll per clients' pay schedule – Gusto
Qualifications:
- Experience with Lacerte is preferred
- Quick learner with the commitment to follow the established process.
- Good communication skills in Vietnamese & English, both verbal and written
- Accounting degree is preferred
- Overtime may be required during tax season deadlines
- Strong work ethic, excellent prioritization, and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to work independently
- Must be detail oriented, organized, highly motivated
- Outlook, Adobe & Microsoft Office is a must.
