Role Overview:
We are looking for a reliable part-time AP/AR Bookkeeping Support person to keep our books accurate and up to date. This is a maintenance role — no wire transfers, no payment authority, no check-signing.
You will work closely with our Controller, and front office staff will assist as needed.
Schedule:
Approximately 8–12 hours/week (about 2 days)
Hybrid – some work in office, some remote
Schedule can be flexible, but must be consistent
Responsibilities:
Enter vendor invoices (AP)
Enter customer invoices and record payments (AR)
Maintain current AP and AR aging reports
Perform weekly bank reconciliation
Keep digital accounting records clean and organized
Coordinate with Controller and front office staff as needed
Requirements:
1+ year bookkeeping or AP/AR experience
Experience with QuickBooks (or similar accounting platform)
Reliable, detail-focused, organized, self-directed
Must be local to San Jose — hybrid role, not fully remote
