Our progressive accounting firm located in San Francisco is actively seeking a Staff Accountant with 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping, tax preparation services, and data entry. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on precision and detail, offering a progressive hybrid work model with 1-2 days per week in our San Francisco office and the flexibility to work remotely for the remaining time.

Responsibilities

Prepare and review tax returns for individuals and small businesses in a progressive and dynamic environment.

Handle daily bookkeeping and data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, showcasing our commitment to progressive and efficient accounting practices.

Record financial transactions and reconcile statements in a progressive manner, leveraging technology for optimal efficiency.

Utilize QuickBooks Online for financial management and reporting, embodying our progressive approach to digital accounting.

Experience with UltraTax and familiarity with Canopy for progressive tax preparation and management services (preferred, but not required).

Collaborate with team members on various accounting projects, contributing to our progressive company culture.

Maintain compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements, reflecting our progressive stance on regulatory adherence.

Skills and Expertise

2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping, tax preparation, and data entry, within a progressive work environment.

Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is highly desirable, aligning with our progressive use of technology.

Experience with UltraTax software and knowledge of Canopy is a plus, indicating a progressive skill set in accounting software.
