Position Available: Tax Compliance and Consulting Assistant
We provide tax compliance and consulting services to individuals and small businesses across various sectors, including employees, small businesses, and nonprofits. We are seeking a versatile and motivated individual to join our team and assist with servicing our diverse and expanding client base.
Requirements:
Minimum 3-5+ years of experience in a CPA firm environment OR recent master's degree recipient.
Prior experience with:
o Lacerte tax program
o QuickBooks
o Excel
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, work independently and manage multiple client engagements.
Responsibilities:
Prepare individual, business and nonprofit tax returns.
Assist with tax planning, projections and general consulting.
Support clients across a wide range of needs, including:
o Employees
o Small business owners
o Rental property owners
o Nonprofit organizations
Maintain accurate records and communicate proactively with clients.
Additional Details:
Compensation: Hourly rate commensurate with experience.
Position Type: Part-time and full-time tax season.
Employment Type: Independent contractor or employee options available.
Location: In-office or remote work available.
