We are expanding our CPA firm and looking for tax interns for the upcoming tax season – January through April. After the tax season, we will offer full-time job to the right candidate. Interns will help other staff with accounting, worksheets, preparation of tax return workpaper files and all other accounting and tax work. During the tax season we prepare individual tax returns, S Corporation tax returns and C corporation tax returns. We have mainly complicated tax clients so these tax returns are also will be complex.
Right candidate should have a degree in accounting or working towards that goal, should have basic knowledge about accounting and taxes, must know Excel and familiarity with other software such as QuickBooks, Word, Outlook, Google Drive etc., should be detail oriented and with good communication skills.
Must be able to drive and must have a dependable auto.
