We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced full-time Tax Professional to join our skilled team. We offer a competitive pay rate, flexible hours, CPE reimbursement, health insurance and a casual, friendly business environment in which to develop your career.
Responsibilities:
Organize tax documents and prepare/review tax returns including, but not limited to, individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, estates, gifts and non-profits
Research and collaborate on a variety of tax projects and tax-related issues
Respond to inquiries and requests from the IRS and other governing authorities
Prepare extensions and quarterly estimates
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients
Qualifications:
Minimum of 6 years of experience in public accounting, specifically in tax
Licensed CPA preferred, or, if not currently a CPA, you are working towards licensure
QuickBooks and bookkeeping experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
Experience with Lacerte tax software a plus
Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills
Organized and highly detail-oriented
Able to prioritize while working on multiple projects
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Professional demeanor
Possess a strong desire to learn
