Local, general contractor who building homes throughout Northern California is looking for an assistant project manager to help execute our projects. Ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of all the necessary components for a successful project and the knowledge and ability to solve problems.
Responsibilities include:
Help keep projects on schedule
Work with sub-contractors
Work with team to ensure project is on schedule/budget
Generate project estimates and bids as needed
Implement and manage project changes and interventions
Estimate and approve change orders for projects
Plan, manage, and attend daily or weekly site meetings
Acquire permits with the building department
Conduct walk-throughs per Silvermark guidelines
Works with Microsoft and Excel
Required
Construction experience 2 years (Preferred)
Bachelor's degree in a related field (Preferred)
This is a M-F in office job with travel to various job sites. Our office is in Fairfield, CA.
