Our construction company is looking for a Commercial Construction On-Site Superintendent. MUST LIVE IN THE SANTA ROSA AREA!

Superintendents are responsible for both on-site and remote coordination of all phases of assigned construction projects. This includes managing subcontractors, materials, equipment, and on-site personnel. A key responsibility is ensuring strict adherence to specifications, regulations, and laws, while also maintaining project schedules and budgets. Furthermore, the Superintendent oversees scheduling, inspections, quality control, and job site safety.
This position offers a defined scope of responsibility and is ideal for someone who builds trust, demonstrates a sense of urgency, and consistently delivers high-quality results. The role requires decisive and timely decision-making, aligned with company guidelines.
Position Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of Superintendent experience in commercial construction.
- Strong understanding of commercial techniques and standards.
- Proven ability to effectively lead and supervise construction teams.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to write and respond to RFIs.
- Proficient in MS Project, Excel, Word, Outlook, and ability to use other softwares.
- Exceptional customer service skills for interacting with clients and architects.
- Knowledge of OSHA construction regulations.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
- Valid California driver's license and a clean driving record.
Responsibilities include:
- Oversee all on-site construction activities, including daily scheduling, building inspections, material and subcontractor coordination, and construction details.
- Conduct regular inspections of work in progress to guarantee adherence to quality standards.
- Communicate daily with the Project Manager to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
- Maintain detailed daily logs, photo documentation, and project files using software.
- Accurately calculate material quantities and create site layouts as needed.
- Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Manage the completion of punch lists and oversee efficient job site demobilization.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site in compliance with OSHA regulations.
