We are a close-knit property management team based in Oakland, managing over a 1000 multifamily apartments across the Bay Area and committed to providing a nice place to live for our tenants.
About the role:
A lot of our success hinges on great onsite staff at our properties, and we are seeking a friendly, reliable, hard-working, self-motivated individual to be the caretaker of this wonderful property in Berkeley. As the Resident Manager, you will be the management presence at the property. Typical duties include janitorial duties such as cleaning the lobby, laundry room, and common areas, assisting with maintenance requests, helping with routine, emergency, or cosmetic maintenance, unit turnovers, improvements, resident disagreements, and inspections. Day-to-day duties involve walking the property, assisting with tenant services, janitorial duties, and the occasional vendor coordination. The role is very important but is designed to be a second job with flexibility to create your own schedule.

Minimum qualifications and requirements:
Must reside at the property and qualify to sign a lease (be a tenant).
Strong troubleshooting abilities; high-level organization.
Have the ability to coordinate with third-party vendors or maintenance staff.
Good computer skills, will need to learn AppFolio Property Manager.
Great verbal and written communication skills, strong customer service orientation.
Must have a positive attitude and be willing to participate as a team member.
