Our current opening for a shipping & receiving coordinator is part of a union position. Enrollment in the Boilermakers Local 549 union is required with monthly union dues. Health insurance, dental insurance, pension benefits are 100% paid for by employer and based on your hours worked. Pension pays $3.03 for every hour worked, up to $484.80 in your pension per month for retirement. Hourly compensation based on experience and union contract.
Duties Include:
- Preparing products for shipment via UPS and pallets
- Promptly unloads deliveries and checks proof of delivery (POD) to purchase orders
- Place received goods in their designated areas
- Inventory control
- Forklift experience a plus (willing to train)
- Acknowledgement of measurements and weights
- Collaborating with the sales department for assembling of manufactured goods for pick up
- Mechanically inclined
- Able to lift 40+ pounds
- Ability to multitask and pay close attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with exceptional communication skills
- Open to learning new skills per in-house training (welding, part fabricating, etc.)
