Schedule:Mondays through Friday, 11:30am to 6:30pm; ability to work additional morning hours when school is closed is preferred; Family can offer 40 hours per week
Children:8 and 12 year old boys
Duties: Childcare and household management, managing family calendar and preparing for and managing logistics for children’s activities, driving children, meal prep and cooking for family, light housekeeping, homework support and oversight, pet care including dog walking, grocery shopping and errands, family’s laundry, organizational projects, scheduling vendors
Requirements: Ideal candidate has an outgoing personality, is active and outdoorsy, not shy to engage with other caregivers and parents, and has experience dealing with active boys. Candidate must be reliable, consistent, punctual, and dependable. Must have patience, be a great communicator and have a positive attitude. The right person will be very organized and intuitive, continually seek ways to be proactive, timely and creative. Some knowledge of child behavior or education in child behavioral studies a plus. Experience in running a household, assisting busy, working parents, all while caring for children is important. Driver with access to a reliable and safe car for use on the job required. Must have up to date vaccinations such as COVID.
Salary:$30-$40 per hour; guaranteed pay 52 weeks of the year, two weeks paid vacation, five paid sick days and six or seven paid holidays
Requirements: Recent, long-term, professional (paid) experience with children, ideally as a Nanny in a private home with excellent references. Long-term teaching experience with children and recent & substantial work doing in-home childcare for a family may also qualify.
