KEEP is looking for an after school program leader to join KEEP Inc. Our dynamic program offers a diverse and creative After School Program at San Francisco Public Montessori, in collaboration with SFUSD's ExCEL program. The position available is for a Program Leader -OR/AND- a Teacher's Assistant, depending on experience.
This is a school year position starting A.S.A.P.
The position is part-time, M,T,TH,F 2:15pm-6:00pm, W 1:15pm-6:00pm, with additional hours for parent-teacher conference week.

Job Description:
As a Program Leader, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for students. This position offers an exciting opportunity to inspire and mentor young minds while contributing to their academic, social, and emotional development.
Your job will ensure students develop and strengthen academic, physical, and social skills by providing assistance, tutoring, and mentorship in the After School Program. Program Leaders will provide academic enrichment and tutoring in groups of up to 20 students, as well as providing outdoor recreational activities in the schoolyard.
Individuals hired for this position will work with the support, and under the supervision, of the Program Site Coordinator and Director. Expectations for the program leader are flexibility, willingness to take initiative, be punctual, and able to commit to work throughout the entire school year.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement recreational, academic, and age-appropriate activities for students.
Serve and assist a general K-5 population in recreation, academics, and enrichment.
Supervise and ensure the safety of students at all times.
Assist and monitor Snack.
Assist Site Coordinator and Director
Assist with setup and cleanup of program spaces and materials.
Maintain a clean and safe environment.
Mobile Assistant ("Floater").
Act as a role model, promoting respect, responsibility, and teamwork.
Qualifications:
At least 18 years old
High School diploma or equivalent
Experience working with youth aged K-5th preferred.
Health Screening, TB Test, and Background Check required.
A commitment to serve the entire school year (start date ASAP June, 2025)
Highly motivated to work with and shape the lives of youth.
Work positively and collaboratively with a diverse team.
Ability to provide high quality activities in a recreational and educational setting.
CPR/First Aid Certified Preferred
Mandarin and Spanish speakers sought
Passed District’s Instructional Aide Exam
Montessori experience NOT required
