We are seeking a teacher at our Redwood Campus, serving 2- and 3-year-olds. You’ll work with our team through the busy lunch hour and alongside a co-teacher with a small aftercare group. Must have completed or be enrolled in at least 12 ECE core units. Some experience is desired. Enthusiasm about the outdoors and young children is a key qualification.
About us: We are a 501c3 non-profit organization with a low student/teacher ratio, based in Sebastopol for 40 years. Our focus is on play and nature based learning, mostly outdoors, rain or shine! In our staff we value honesty, kindness, reliability, and enthusiastic energy. We practice positive discipline and peaceful communication with our co-teachers, children, and community.
SHIFT: 12:00-5:00, Monday through Friday, possibly fewer days per week until June 1 (job share with current employee). Pay is 21.50/hr. for fully qualified teachers, with regular increases, paid holidays, paid school breaks, vacation time, and sick leave.
