We are seeking kind, energetic people to be active with and help care for our 20-something son, who is on the autism spectrum.
Duties include:
1) Training zoom calls bi-monthly with his behaviorist, nutritionist, and other members of his support team.
2) Being with him and present when scheduled, as he cannot be on his own.
3) Helping him complete daily activities, some planned, some spontaneous.
He enjoys healthy meals, hiking, biking, basketball at the park, art, Theme Parks, word games, riding the train, reading, making videos, running, yoga, going to the health club, swimming, juggling, household chores, laundry, outings, shopping, etc
4) Being kind and patient while helping him adapt to the world around him, explaining appropriate and inappropriate behavior, waiting patiently while he processes communication, etc
Daily staffing needs, 2 to 8 hour shifts available to fit your availability.
