Cypress School provides Autism and Behavioral Services for children and young adults with autism and other developmental disabilities. We are encouraging applicants that are positive, creative, engaging, and artistic. We engage in physical and community based activities daily. Preference is given to applicants with a BA and/or experience with students with autism and similar disabilities. Benefits are available for full time employees.
We are hiring a full time Teacher Aide/After School Counselor (8 hours shift within the hours of 7:30 am-5:30pm) immediately. We are a year round program with 230 days per year (total hours per week are 40 hours).
Services that are provided by teacher aides/after school counselors include functional academics, independent living skills, communication, recreation/leisure, vocational work training and sensory regulation activities
