Job description
We are seeking a temporary full time Teacher to join our team in delivering excellence in early childhood education. As a temp Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn and thrive. This position would be as an independent contractor with the possibility to transition to permanent staff.
We are a CSPP, all teachers are required to hold a valid/current CA Teacher Permit
Responsibilities:
- Plan, implement, and supervise developmentally appropriate activities and curriculum.
- Knowledge of Title 5 regulations.
- Ability to complete DRDPs and other assessments.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
- Provide individualized support and guidance to meet the diverse needs of each child.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and support staff to ensure a cohesive and enriching learning experience.
- Maintain open communication with parents/guardians regarding children's progress and development.
Requirements:
- California Early Childhood Education Teacher Permit (Minimum Requirement)
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (Preferred)
- At least 1 year of experience in Preschool experience classroom setting
- Proficiency in English; bilingual in Spanish is extremely beneficial but not required
- Strong understanding of Title 5 regulations and best practices in early childhood education
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
Weekends as needed

San Mateo, CA 94401: Relocate before starting work (Required)
