BASICS:
We are a basketball club in San Francisco dedicated to offering an organized experience to kids of all different levels. All teams play locally in the Bay Area and our youth and high school travel teams compete in travel tournaments as well.
There are openings to head coach teams of different ages, both boys and girls. Additionally, there are open coaching positions in our Clinics Program.
We can create a schedule for you that fits around your full-time / main job.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Team Program Coach-
The main responsibility for a Team Coach is to lead practices and games, and be a great mentor to the kids.
Our admin team handles scheduling and parent communication for you, although some communication with guardians is required.
-The Fall season runs from September 4th through the end of October, with opportunities to continue
-Two 90-minute practices per week sometime between 4-9pm in SF
-2 or 3 games per weekend on selected weekends, usually two weekends per month
-Practices and games can be arranged around other jobs or commitments
-Commute to game sites, which may be outside San Francisco
-Clinic Coach Position-
The main responsibility for a Clinic Coach is to lead groups of various sizes in a basketball workout.
-We run camps and clinics year-round in SF.
-Lead groups in skill-building drills, fundamentals, and live competitions / scrimmages.
EXPERIENCE:
All applicants should have either coaching or playing experience, preferably both.
