Construction company in Hayward is seeking a qualified Project Engineer/ Junior PM to join our team and take on our larger projects. Responsibilities include:
1. Conduct regular meetings with client and design team to ensure scope is clarified and meet project expectations
2. Delegate tasks to team members according to their individual skill sets, experience and abilities to ensure efficient completion of the project.
3. Track performance and analyze the completion of key goals.
4. Document and report project progress to stakeholders and clients.
5. Utilize Procore on a daily basis for maintaining the project
6. Work with superintendent to maintain a neat and orderly job site
7. Track subcontractors, deliveries, and GC staff
8. Submit & track all RFIS/submittals
9. Create and maintain 4 week lookahead and master schedules
Qualifications:
1. Organization and problem-solving skills
2. Ability to use specialized software for collaboration and time management, including spreadsheets
3. Experience with inventory control and process improvement
4. Strong time management and analytical skills
5. Firm understanding of complex mathematical concepts
6. Proven leadership skills
7. Strong communication skills
8. This is an on site position at the project location
