We are Waiterock Kennels in Lafayette, CA We are looking for someone who can help out part-time Friday - Monday.
Responsibilities include:
- Exercising the dogs (usually 10-15 dogs)
- Playing with the dogs
- Picking up poop
- Cleaning indoor-outdoor runs and tidying up to keep it all in clean order
- Wiping down walls, floors, etc as everything ends up getting dusty and dirty
- Feeding dogs, doing dishes and laundry
-Great job for a student.
In general it is a fun easy going atmosphere with the dogs but there is always something to do either with monitoring the dogs or cleaning up. You will have to interface with clients and will be cross trained to work reception where you would check in dogs for boarding and daycare. You'll occasionally have to bath a dog and you will be trained to do that, we have a nice setup for bathing.
Must have a drivers license and be able to drive. We are not near public transportation so you'll need your own car. This is not negotiable.
Looking for someone to start as soon as possible to get trained up and going in the next couple weeks.
