We are MHA Consulting Engineers and are looking for someone with previous (or ongoing) construction experience who will be able to go on-site to perform observations or inspections.
Typical duties will include:
Taking pictures of the existing conditions - outside, crawlspace, attic, etc.
Taking pictures of new construction
Performing special inspections
This is a part-time job, with about one site visit per week or every two weeks. For each visit, you will be paid hourly, including driving time, with a 2-hour minimum. If you perform a visit or inspection that takes 1 hour, you will still be paid for 2 hours. If you perform a visit that takes 3 hours, you will be paid for 3 hours.
You will be provided with a mobile device and service for taking videos, pictures, and being on-call with an off-site engineer if needed.
You must be familiar with common construction practices for light-framed wood structures (homes, low-rise commercial, etc.). You must have your own vehicle to be able to travel to job sites.
