We are an elderly couple, both retired Stanford University faculty, who need help with downsizing our Berkeley home in preparation for moving and with furnishing an accessory dwelling unit (ADU). Skills needed are organizational ability, attention to detail, and an aesthetic sensibility. Duties include:
- Helping to sort, pack, and move furniture and other household items
- Arranging for resale of books, clothes, and antiques both online and through local dealers
- Helping to choose and purchase furnishings for the ADU
A CA driver's license, access to a car, and a clean driving record are required
Schedule: This is a temporary job and we don’t know how long this project will take. Various options are possible depending on your availability. For example, the weekly schedule could be 18 hrs week for 6 weeks, or 12 hrs/week for 9 weeks.
