My kids (17 and 14) need driving to-and-fro (school, social events, athletics practise, etc.).
Most of the destinations are in Berkeley and Oakland, at the most 15–20 minutes away from my home.
The job pays $20 an hour, plus $0.67 per mile for gas. $0.67 is the official reimbursement rate for gas in California.
Even if the drive takes less than an hour, the person still gets paid for the whole hour. That is, the drive could take (for example) 10 minutes, and you'll get paid $20 plus gas money.
Payment for your time and reimbursement for gas starts when you pick up the kids and ends when you drop them off at the destination.
Required: a reliable car and two references. Women only, please. Special preference for college students.
