Driving for kids

My kids (16 and 14) need driving to-and-fro (school, social events, classes, etc.).

Since they are teenagers, their schedule tends to shift around. For instance, there are two rides required on Tuesday evenings for the next few months. Other rides often become available—I will know of these at least a week in advance, usually. You can of course do the ones that fit with your schedule. There's no pressure to do all of them.

Most of the destinations are in Berkeley and Oakland, at the most 15–20 minutes away from my home in Rockridge.

The job pays $20 an hour, plus $0.67 per mile for gas. $0.67 is the official reimbursement rate for gas in California.

Even if the drive takes 10 minutes the person still gets paid for the whole hour.

Required: a reliable car and two references. Women only, please. Special preference for college students.
