We're looking for a full time Barista/ Counter person to help run the front end of our bakery.
Sell pastries, interact with customers, craft coffee drinks on our Le Marzocco 2 head espresso machine
(espressos, lattes, cappuccinos, cold brews, teas, chai) and box orders for Doordash.
Availability: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, 7:30am-2:30pm 33-35 hours week, somewhat higher during the holiday season).
Hourly pay plus tip pooling, looking for experienced baristas/counterpeople.
Candidates need to have basic customer service skills (smile, engage the customer, etc) be able to lift minimum of 50 pounds (although you won't be in the back lifting bags of flour just boxes of pastries for customers!), wear non slip shoes, current food handler’s card is great but not needed, sense of ownership and drive. Bilingual is a plus!
about us: artisanal family owned bakery in lower nob hill that does retail and wholesale, we're always busy putting out high end, hand crafted pastries. we primarily use Mother Tongue coffee (based in Oakland).
