Copita Tequileria y Comida is a vibrant restaurant in the Willow Glen neighborhood of San Jose on the corner of Lincoln Ave and Willow St. We're looking for an experienced bartender to work 4-5 shifts a week at night.
We serve seasonal, modern Mexican food and offer over 100 tequilas and mezcals, along with an innovative cocktail and beverage program. Copita is open for lunch and dinner daily plus weekend brunch with indoor and outdoor seating on two levels. In collaboration with Chef/Owner Joanne Weir, the two kitchens are led by Executive Chef Azari Cuenca-Maitret. QUALIFICATIONS
2+ years as a bartender at a Mexican or other high volume ($3+ million) Full-Service Restaurant
Able to engage and converse with guests at the bar while preparing drinks for servers
Experience with Toast POS
Detail oriented
Accountable and reliable
Works well under pressure
Shares the Copita Core Values in daily behavior and mindset
Work expectations:
4-6 hours per work day
3 days per week minimum
Evening and weekend availability (including Sunday) is required
