We are hiring a part time cashier/light prep person, at our busy, privately operated cafe on the U.C. Berkeley campus. The Monday and Friday afternoons (2 pm - 7:30 pm) shift is available immediately with the possibility later more hours later if desired.
This position requires good organizational and communication skills, the ability to multi-task gracefully during peak business hours, while contributing to a positive experience for guests and team members at all times.
Includes: working the Square-based register system, doing light prep of fruit and vegetables, keeping the work area and tables cleaned, restocking inventory.
Experience preferred, proficiency in English required, Spanish speaking a plus, se habla español. We are willing to train a motivated person with limited experience. Please reach out and/or forward your work experience resume.
