Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and talented Chinese Cuisine Chef to lead our kitchen. The ideal candidate will have expertise in preparing authentic Chinese dishes, from Cantonese dim sum to spicy Sichuan specialties. You will be responsible for crafting high-quality meals, managing kitchen operations, and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and food safety.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a variety of traditional and modern Chinese dishes.
Ensure food quality, presentation, and portion control meet the restaurant’s standards.
Manage kitchen staff, including training and supervision.
Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
Maintain food safety and cleanliness standards in compliance with local regulations.
Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and special offerings.
Control inventory and manage ordering of ingredients.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Chinese Cuisine Chef or in a similar role.
Extensive knowledge of Chinese cooking techniques, ingredients, and regional styles.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Culinary degree or equivalent training is a plus.
