We are seeking a passionate and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team and contribute to our mission of excellence.
About the Job
As a Line Cook, you will play a critical role in preparing high-quality dishes with precision, consistency, and care. You will work closely with the kitchen brigade to execute a refined, seasonal menu and uphold the standards of a high-end culinary environment.
Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to…)
-Prepare and execute dishes according to the chef's specifications and fine dining standards.
-Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of workstations in compliance with health and safety regulations.
-Ensure all mise en place is completed before service and maintain quality and consistency during service.
-Collaborate with fellow cooks, sous chefs, and chefs de cuisine to ensure smooth and timely service.
-Follow proper food handling and storage procedures.
-Participate in daily prep, cleaning, and end-of-day closing duties.
-Uphold kitchen safety protocols and maintain a positive and respectful work environment.
Requirements
-Minimum 2 years experience as a line cook in a high-end or fine dining restaurant.
-Culinary degree or formal culinary training preferred but not required.
-Strong knife skills and understanding of cooking techniques (sauté, grill, roasting, etc.).
-Ability to work efficiently and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
-Excellent attention to detail and commitment to consistency and quality.
-Team player with strong communication and collaboration skills.
-Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
-Must be able to walk or stand for the duration of your accepted shifts (except for meal and rest periods).
-Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds.
-Must have a valid Food Handlers Certificate or willingness to obtain one within 30 days of hire

Compensation
-$19.18 per hour plus service charge and tips
