Pizzeria Avellino is blowing up; we recently changed our menu offerings, hours and recipes and are now seeing our business boom! We need a dedicated assistant manager to help keep things in line as we grow. The duties for this job are a mix of working a register, customer service, food prep, pizza making, scheduling and improving operations.
A bit about us:
Pizzeria Avellino sells pizza by the slice, whole pies, burgers, sandwiches, salads and more. We’re located on the corner of Lombard and Lyon - right next to the Presidio Gate -
and see a lot of business from tourists and students, as well as people who live and work in the area. We’re a favorite in the neighborhood because we provide excellent, friendly service and delicious made-to-order food.
A bit about you:
You have some experience working in restaurants. You work hard and have a sense of humor. You put customers at ease as you provide excellent customer service. You speak enough Spanish to get by. When you encounter a problem, you don’t just fix it, you look at the bigger picture and think about what can be done to make sure it doesn’t happen again. You can work 20 - 30 hours a week. You love pizza.
