Freewheel Brewing Company is a Brewery with Limited Service Kitchen dedicated to delivering exceptional culinary experiences. We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Sous Chef to lead our kitchen team and elevate our culinary offerings.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Head Chef in menu planning, recipe development, and execution of culinary offerings.
Oversee and manage kitchen operations in the absence of the Head Chef.
Train, mentor, and lead kitchen staff, ensuring consistent performance and adherence to quality standards.
Assist in the creation of daily specials and contribute to the development of new dishes.
Monitor food preparation and presentation to maintain high-quality standards.
Manage inventory, control costs, and ensure efficient use of resources.
Uphold and enforce kitchen hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar leadership role within the culinary industry.
Strong culinary skills and a passion for creating exceptional dishes.
Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire a kitchen team.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
