Job Description:
We are seeking two PART-TIME (16-24 hours) reliable and friendly Counter Persons to join our team! The ideal candidates will be team players with a positive attitude, great customer service skills, and the ability to handle a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment. As a Counter Person, you will be responsible for taking orders, preparing sandwiches, handling the cash register, and ensuring that every customer has a pleasant experience at House of Bagels.
Responsibilities:
Greet customers with a smile and provide excellent customer service
Take orders accurately and efficiently
Prepare and assemble sandwiches, ensuring quality and consistency
Handle cash, credit card transactions, and maintain an organized cash register
Package and prepare customer orders for takeout or delivery
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the counter, kitchen, and dining area
Assist in restocking ingredients and supplies as needed
Work as part of a team to ensure smooth operations and a positive atmosphere
Follow all health and safety regulations
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a customer service role or food service is a plus
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Must be a team player with a friendly, easygoing attitude
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 pounds
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
