Iconic and loved neighborhood restaurant is looking for their next kitchen leader. This is a small space, with a big role. We’re seeking a hardworking and dedicated chef with the highest of standards. A chance to make an indelible mark on the local food scene.
This is a role for someone experienced, confident, and strong willed. You will work side by side with the chef and owner. Let’s just call it what it is, we’re looking for someone to take the kitchen from us, the owners. Come and show us your skill level, wow us, and take over the menu in a 4 star kitchen. We hold our heads with the utmost of pride in the meals we’ve lovingly prepared, but it’s time for someone else to take our place.

REQUIREMENTS
An updated, relevant resume. Resumes with no work history within the last year will NOT be considered.
Also an absolute must. Candidates for consideration must have a proven track record of creating menus and items for existing restaurants. We are looking for a creator. Someone that has a creative mind and can come up with specials and delicious menu items using the ingredients on hand.
4+ years in a Kitchen Management role
Dedicated, dedicated, dedicated. 3 months as a chef anywhere should not be considered long enough to make it onto your resume. We are looking for someone that wants to stay. Someone that wants a kitchen to transform and make their own. This is expected to take a year or more

EXPECTATIONS
5, 10hr shifts. Typical day is 11am-9pm. Two days off per week.
Willingness to work as much as necessary to achieve goals of the restaurant. Growth fulfillment is a major part of this role.
Willingness to lead, manage, and spearhead expanded services and hours. Brunch and lunch are both on the horizon, and we hope to find the person to help us achieve that.
