Kokkari, one of San Francisco top 10 restaurants seeking fine dinning Host/hostess. Minimum of 2 years fine dining experience, familiarity with Open Table and exceptional customer service skills are a must. Above all we are looking for an individual with a great sense of hospitality. Additionally, the following is required: A flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and lunch shifts. The ability to thrive in a fast paced environment. Able to work well with others. Candidates must be punctual, reliable, self motivated and extremely detail orientated.
Host/ Hostess Qualifications:
Minimum 2 year experience as a Host/Hostess in a Fine Dining establishment a must.
Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
Knowledge of MICROS and OPENTABLE a plus.
Possess a positive, welcoming attitude and a warm and personable presence
Possess a passion for the highest level of customer service to ensure we exceed guest's expectations.
Possess a professional, friendly demeanor and has the ability to think on their feet.
The ability to greet guests, escort them to their tables, pull seat out for the ladies, and present menus.
The ability to effectively communicate with the team members to ensure that the guest's needs are met in a timely manner.
The ability to maximize seating capacity while maintaining a professional environment.
The ability to manage a floor with a high volume of guests.
The ability to provide direction to guest's when approaching the host stand.
A full knowledge of our menu's, services and hours of operation.
The ability to handle any special requests.
Must have open availability.
