Position Summary
Del Valle Winery is seeking a motivated and reliable Line/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and executing a variety of menu items, maintaining high quality and consistency, and ensuring the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. This role requires teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure all dishes are prepared and served to established quality standards.
Execute various menu items using different cooking methods.
Set up, maintain, and clean assigned kitchen stations.
Adhere to all sanitation, food safety, and kitchen safety standards.
Perform inventory checks and stock ingredients as needed.
Collaborate effectively with the Chef and fellow team members.
Adapt to changing schedules, events, and functions.
Qualifications & Skills
Previous experience with lunch and dinner service required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Friendly, motivated, and service-oriented attitude.
Flexibility to adjust to shifting priorities.
Fluent in English.
Availability
Must be available Thursday through Monday, with occasional Tuesday/Wednesday shifts as required.
