Overview:
Stag's Leap Wine Cellars is seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician III to diagnose and maintain electrical equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and safety regulations. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical equipment in an industrial setting.
Essential Job Functions:
Safely complete work assignments and operation of equipment and tools
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Follow lockout/tagout procedures to prevent accidents.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Install, replace, and upgrade electrical systems and components, including wiring, conduit, and control panels.
Use electrical drawings and schematics for equipment installation.
Use various hand and power tools to complete tasks efficiently.
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment to identify and address potential issues.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical malfunctions, including diagnosing problems and implementing solutions.
Conduct testing and calibration of electrical systems to ensure optimal performance.
Complete work orders and inspection reports.
Update electrical schematics and diagrams as needed
Ability to work independently and as part of a Team.
Non-Essential Job Functions:
Previous vineyard and/or winery maintenance preferred.
Receive and maintain safety certifications to use forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, and other winery equipment
Experience with CMMS records and time management
Working Conditions:
Indoors and out; in all sorts of climatic and weather conditions, including but not limited to inclement weather such as rain, wind, cold and extreme heat.
Weekend and off-hour coverage for production or facility maintenance as needed
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to repeatedly lift 50 lbs.
Must be able to walk and stand for most of the day; turn, twist, bend, crouch, extend, climb ladders, and have a full range of motion in all varieties of physical movement, while using tools, holding loads, and working with one’s hand
Qualifications:
Must possess a High School diploma or GED
Valid California driver’s license
Minimum of two (2) years of experience as an industrial electrician.
History of responsible use of alcohol and other appropriate conduct
Authorization for employment in the United States
