Our customer-focused Manager is essential in ensuring every guest receives exceptional service from the moment they enter our establishment until they leave. As Manager, you will be the face of our restaurant, responsible for managing the team when the GM is not in the building, and directing daily operations of the restaurant, including development and performance of all employees including management of front and back of house.
Manages the day-to-day operational and financial activities to optimize profits and ensure that guests are satisfied with their dining experience. Understand and support policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and training programs
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Interaction: Warmly greet and engage with guests as they enter the restaurant.
Training Staff: Training of new employees and providing on-going training to ensure that service standards and product quality are consistent and maintained at all times.
Menu Knowledge: Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and special promotions.
Guidance: Assist guests in navigating the menu, making recommendations based on their preferences and dietary restrictions.
Customer Support: Address and resolve guest concerns and complaints promptly, ensuring a positive outcome and guest satisfaction.
Guest Services: Continuously strive to ensure 100% guest satisfaction so that no guest leaves unhappy, while ensuring that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service.
Employee Support: Maintain high visibility on the dining floor, including unsolicited “table touches”. Be easily accessible to guests staff at all times when on duty to enhance the dining experience and work environment.
Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the counter, dining area, and condiment stations.
Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
Feedback Collection: Encourage guests to provide feedback and relay any valuable insights to management for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Experience: Previous experience in a management role, preferably in the food service industry.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
Sales Skills: Proven ability to upsell and cross-sell products effectively.
Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy and guest satisfaction.
Multitasking: Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Technology Proficiency: Comfortable using POS systems and other technology used in the restaurant.
Availability: Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and evenings as required.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
