Quince Pacific Avenue (QPA), is a San Francisco restaurant group comprising of a small collection of unique establishments from Lindsay and Chef Michael Tusk that includes Quince, Cotogna and Verjus.

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Under the direction of the Restaurant General Managers & QPA Beverage Director, the Marketing and Event Manager will perform assigned responsibilities to ensure the successful marketing of QPA operations and oversee all event programming associated with both the retail and wine bar. The QPA Marketing and Event Manager will create marketing initiatives, marketing strategies and special event programming with the goals of increasing sales and broadening the operations target audience. The position requires a high level of attention to detail and professionalism.

The QPA Events and Marketing Manager will need a passion for food and wine as well as an entrepreneurial spirit. This position will require interfacing with customers in both a retail and service settings. The position will also require working on weekends, holidays and evenings.

RESPONSIBILITY AND SPAN OF AUTHORITY:

SERVICE STANDARDS

Maintain a high standard of hospitality-centric customer service in keeping with QPAs mission statement.

Ensure a timely and professional response to all event inquiries at QPA

Oversee the organization, co-ordination and execution of all QPA special events

Assist in the timely service of retail customers including orientating customers to the retail selection and recommending suitable product.

FOOD & WINE PROGRAMMING MARKETING

Work with the Corporate Beverage Director to market the Wine Programming at QPA. This includes the following:

Drive mailing list sign up through both the website and on-premise subscription

Ensure accurate input of all pertinent customer information into CRM module

Coordinate Verjus Wine Club Programming and associated pick up parties

Wine Event Programming including dinners, tastings, seminars and release parties

Review purchase histories and noted interests of clients to make allocated offerings to stratified mailing list clientele

Monthly product focused promotional e-blasts

FINANCIAL

Budget and forecast QPA event revenue

Maintain accurate financial records of all QPA special events

Reconcile and input daily private dining and events sales in an accurate and timely manner

Follow up on pending payments and other accounts receivable activities pertaining to events

Track financial impact of all retail associated marketing campaigns

OPERATIONS

Coordinate site visits for potential event clients

Facilitate menu planning process with guests

Conduct all necessary post-event follow up with guests
