Oversees front office/front desk operations during the overnight shift or the afternoon shift. Represents the hotel to the guest throughout all stages of the guest’s stay by working with all hotel personnel to ensure every guest experience superior customer care. Responsibilities include registering guests, assigning rooms, accommodating special requests, and ensuring the guests have a pleasant stay and smooth checkout.
Answer the phone at the front desk to respond to current and prospective guests’ needs. Book reservations for individuals, families and groups as required.
Maintain credit card authorization paperwork and update reservations.
Process Best Western Rewards points, travel cards, and vouchers.
Promote the Best Western Rewards program with every guest.
Greet walk-in guests and guests with reservations when they arrive at the front desk.
Refer guests to local amenities and venues.
Inform guests of hotel offerings.
Work as a team with all staff members.
Communicate guests’ requests and complaints to the appropriate department.
Inform staff about important information regarding the hotel and guests.
Tidy and organize front desk area.
Other duties as assigned
Availability: 2 Night Shifts 10:30pm - 6:30am (Friday & Saturday)
3 Afternoon Shifts 2:30pm -10:30am
Salary: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
