Goodness Gracious Catering and Private Chef is looking for an experienced and motivated On-Call Server.
Women owned and operated, globally inspired, and locally sourced, Goodness Gracious focuses on preparing and executing unique wine country experiences including small private dinners, to more elaborate mid-sized weddings, cooking classes, farm dinners and more.
The Perfect Candidate
Is located within the Sonoma/Napa County, and/or surrounding cities in order to start training upon hire
Has an intrinsic spirit of Hospitality. Someone who genuinely enjoys engaging with people and going above and beyond to provide a special experience for the client
Enjoys having a creative hand in things- from occasionally helping with impromptu floral arrangements, cheese boards, and setting a beautiful tablescape
Has intimate food, wine, spirits and travel knowledge of wine country and it's hidden gems or local experiences. Here at Goodness Gracious it's not just about providing a run-of-the-mill farm-to-table experience. We want our clients to experience the wine country like we do and discover the people and the businesses they have built, that have driven this industry in the Valley for decades.
Has at least 5 years of experience or equivalent serving in upscale or fine-dining restaurants with a good working knowledge of all things service related from set-up to break-down
Ability to lift at least 50lbs
Flexibility in schedule and the desire to work 1-3 events a week throughout Sonoma and Napa counties (with unique opportunities near the Bay Area or on the Coast) during busy season
Ability to both take and give direction as needed and a healthy understanding of chain of command.
A troubleshooter, problem solver and solutions oriented person at heart. We would like someone who can take initiative and use the tools and resources at hand to solve problems independently.

Pay rate between $25-$30/ hr DOE
