Outerlands is a family run restaurant by Ocean Beach. We're seeking an experienced bread baker to join our team! This position will own bread production for the restaurant, including feeding the sourdough starter, scaling, mixing, folding, shaping, and baking. Other duties include assisting with pastry production.
Experience required:
- experience working with naturally leavened bread
- familiarity with bread shaping and baking
Must be able to work weekends.
We are seeking someone with a warm, welcoming demeanor, attention to detail and strong communication skills.
This position will average an estimated 30 hours of work per week.
