We recently expanded into an add-on space across the hall, where additional staff will work. I want to turn the open area into a part-time café due to all the seating and tables that will be available. I have a visual merchandiser being delivered Monday that I will fill with beverages, and I am also intending to purchase a professional espresso machine for making drinks. There is plenty of demand in the building, as there is no café on the property, and the building management sometimes brings in mobile cafés for events that are very well-received.
I would like to hire a part-time barista/café manager for 15-20 hours per week (I estimate 3-4 hours per day 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. or 11 a.m., 5 days per week). I figure a half hour of setup and cleanup with three open hours. You can pick essentially any espresso machine that you would want to run, and I will purchase it for your use. Cashiering would be handled by my existing staff and/or a mobile app.
